where are all the old timers?

I started in 2000, and I rarely see anyone from back then on the boards now.

Yes I remember when the boards crashed and how upset some people got at losing their numbers.

There sure were some crazy post and posters that made you laugh. I often wonder what happen to some of them. After lurking for months and months those crazy post and posters were the reason I joined. Although I'm not here much anymore, the cold months keep me in and I still enjoy the Dis.

We survived the crash and saw 9/11 through each others eyes. Lots of Dis history still here.

I'm not an old timer, but I do miss the debate board.

There are a couple old timers who have new names. For example, I just learned that JunieJay used to be Snoopy. All this time I thought Snoopy was banned. Always wondered why.

Then there are the old timers who have really been banned. Darn. I can't even think of a name. Probably better off that way, I think I'd get in trouble for mentioning them.

Wasn't a huge poster back then, the kids didn't allow me much computer time since all we had was 1 back then and they were always on it.

Times have changed, we now have 5 computers BUT the kids are always on them and they like to use MY laptop all the time.

I was on here when there was just a few boards, and remember Wilderness posting all the time, and Dan, and some others who have been banned. And there are some I really miss that are no longer around.
