Where are all of the BWV contracts?

AHHH! Just found two new BWV contracts on TSS 75 pts and 100 pts, they even have our use year. BUT now DH wants to wait!!!
Hopefully they are a good fit for one of you guys.

The guide is the one I met when I did the tour. Even if I did not buy direct, it looks like they keep the info somewhere because he is the one who is assigned to my account.

That's an interesting point. So my wife and I did the tour but ended up buying our two contracts via resale. So what is the future of my relationship with my salesperson going to be? Will he be contacting me about things?

He'll probably call and breathe heavily into the phone. But, yeah, you'll probably have him as your guide. The guide we had for our four direct purchases, many years ago, was taken from us and we were given a new one about three years ago. He sends us e-mails about all the great deals DVC has for us, even called us one or twice. But we're not going to buy any more points, ever.

Everyone gets assigned a guide when they buy in, resale or direct? I did not know this. For some reason, I thought the salesperson who sold you direct becomes the guide for the first few months then you're on your own. Does the guide follow the contract from owner to owner?

Everyone gets a "guide" no matter how you purchased you contract. I put guide in quotes because they're just salespeople, there's nothing they can help you with other than trying to sell you more points.

I feel the pain. We scooped up two BWV - Oct UY - last year. I've been trying to add another one, and I can't find one to save my life. I've been search all the different broke sites, and there's just nothing available..

Seems strange that the inventory dried up. But in some sense it will benefit those that want to unload now, wouldn't it? Have the contracts that have been popping up on the market been priced any higher then they used to be?

It's not totally dried up. I've got one BWV at ROFR and two more going in to ROFR in the next couple of days once all the paper work gets signed. I'll post the details on them once they have been sent in.

I would semi agree with this statement. There are no longer the huge inventories that were available at the beginning of the year, but there is a steady supply that is hitting the market each week. The problem is that with less to choose from, these new deals are getting snatched up rather quickly. Best be on your toes if you're looking to buy at BWV! (Oh, and you may want to be prepared to pay a little more as well).

Totally agree here. My last two BWV contracts worked out to be a couple of dollars higher in price/point than the one already at ROFR.
