Hi... we are going to DL on my daughter's 4th birthday and we have AP's. I know we have some options for the birthday "gift". Either a special set of FP's, giftcard, etc. Where do we get these? At the ticket booths or inside the park like at city hall. Since she's only going to be 4 do I need to bring a copy of her birth certificate or is her AP which has her birthdate on it enough? Thanks!

I went with my neighbor in Jan. and we got her DD's fun card at Guest Services in DCA. She has an AP and they didn't require the birth certificate. She took another DD there in Feb., again, w/o birth cert. and the CM kept questioning the DD asking her her birthday (she also has AP). So, yes you can get your birthday gift w/o birth certificate, but they may question you several times. I haven't read of anyone who's been denied the gift, w/o b.c. if they have an AP. It only makes sense that since Disney has the birthdate in their records, that they shouldn't need to verify it. They don't even ask for a b.c when you get a kid an AP.

I rec. GS at DCA as there hardly seems to be a line there while the tix booths lines have been huge lately and the one at DL is also long.

We got DBFs by going to City Hall. No problems at all. They did take his ID but didn't need it because we have APs so they have that info already. I'm not taking my DDs birth certs when we go for their bdays, for the same reason, we have APs they know when our bdays are. :)

Good info the thought of losing a birth certificate there was scary!
