so here we are our first trip to disney but, how did we get here? and who is going? well let's see...there is me and my girls, maegan 9 and macy 4. my sister and her kids, mikey 14, cj 12, and taylor 6. and mikey's bff autumn 15.
so my story is...after maegan came along i told my hubby we should go to disney, we began the planning and suprise--enter macy. well let's wait a while till maegan can ride everything well take macy and then go back in a few years. then our world was shook upside down. in march of 2006 two armed men broke down our door, beat my husband (in front of the girls, who were in the bathtub) put a gun to their heads and mine and threaten to kill us if we didn't give them all our money. they finally knocked michael out and left. so when your on the floor with a gun to your head things fall into place quick. anyway after living through that i decided let's go to disney and forget about it. enter henson my sweet baby boy. so now he is 18 months, the stimulus has come and i talked my sister into it we are going!!! we leave july 5 and are staying for a week, yea us!!! my hubby works all the time and wouldn't take off so he won't be going and the baby is staying with mom, so i can't wait!!! thanks to all DISers i have made a spreadsheet, a travel journal, an activity book and t shirts. we are soo excited. this is everyone first time except autumn who went when she was 4 as a make a wish kid, she had a line in her neck and didn't get to do to much, but has been in remission for more than 7 years and declared cancer free so yea autumn. mikey and cj lost their dad to cancer and have a special place in their hearts for anyone going through it, being boys they aren't as psyched as the rest of us. anyway i hate to ramble just thought i'd give a shout out to all those who have helped along the way!
