The next few pics- I am just having fun playing with my NEW cameras different settings and everything.. these trees were so beautiful.

2 different editing versions.. can't decide which one I like best--

Then we just wandered around Chicago... which is quite easy to do!

Austin thought the outdoor iceskating "all- year round" was the best thing on earth. He said "We have to move here- we can go ice skating in the summer!!"

After hours and hours of searching and walking- we finally found it--

It looks like an awesome Chicago trip! Some of your pictures are really good! I have a friend who lived there and loved it....except for the winters! She even commented this morning that a day doesn't go by that she wishes she could be in Chicago in the winter!!

Thank you! I love editing pictures ,and I think I like the edited one that is blurry best too. I hope to post a new update tomorrow.. if not I'll post by Wednesday!

If you love the movie and the soundtrack, you would absolutely love it! The show brings it alive and the music is soo magical!

hehe! I would absolutely love to live in Chicago.. but I don't know if I could handle the winters there.. especially with how the commuting is- you would spend A LOT of time outside.. and I don't do that during the winter!

Yes, we did! I would love to return and will someday.. I just got a flier in the mail for "Beauty and the Beast" on Broadway.. and if we weren't going to be moving, going to Disney, and finding new jobs- I would jump at the chance!

Hello Everyone! I just wanted to stop by and say hello! I am going to try and post an update tomorrow- BUT I have some errands I have to do! So if I don't do it tomorrow- I will do it by Wednesday! I have a education job fair on Tuesday at my college! It's my first one, I'm a little nervous.. ok a lot nervous.. cause I have no idea what to expect!

When I post an update I have some things to share- purchases from my mom, update/changes on our dining a little bit, additions to the travel party-sorta, and my quick service choices!

I can't believe on Wednesday- we will have 30 days til WDW!!! Which means.. in like 2 weeks, I can begin packing!!! hehe I always start 2 weeks in advance.. my dad said today he wanted to start packing now! My parents are getting super excited now!

I hope you are all having an amazing Easter Sunday! and I'll try to catch up on all your reports!

hey! im a lurker coming out! just wanted to say congrats on graduation. i will be done in december and like you i have been going to college since i graduated high school in 04 but the most important thing is that at least we will finish!!!!

Hi Jen! Seems like we have a lot of similarities, We're the same age (I feel like crying about it too), graduated high school the same year, have a dream of becoming a teacher and of course, our love for Disney.

The $10 fee is waived for medical reasons whether you take insulin or not. (I know from experience because I once was a Front Desk CM at Pop)

Love the crocs you picked out, I like that style more than the classic

I know when my wife and myself go away anywhere she has to pack as much as possible about a month ahaed. We are going on our first non-disney trip on friday and she has been planning and packing for the last 2 months. She is a planning freak but it always works out for her and if it happens to be a last minute trip then she gets all worried that she has missed something....well anyways I won't be able to read your TR for about 3 weeks so I will catch up when we get back so take and have fun.

Hello Everyone.. guess what?!!

30 DAYS UNTIL DISNEY WORLD TODAY!!!!


I am very excited about this, because this seems to be the only thing positive to look forward to lately. I'm not trying to be a downer- but DH and I had a bad day. Sad news first I suppose (this is beginning to be a theme of my posts). DH lost his job today. I think they were mad at him because he called in on Tuesday (using 1 of his 5 sicks days for the year) for a doctors appt.; because they wouldn't allow him to get out early. But I think they heard or caught on what his plans were about leaving because they have been getting worse and worse. We are kind of in panic mode right now.. I spent the morning crying and freaking out.. but now I'm feeling a little better. I honestly don't know what we are going to do because DH supports us. I only worked part time because I was student teaching and my work hired someone to take my place when I couldn't be there- and now I can't get more hours until the summer program starts (June). I'm getting really stressed because I have applied for at least 30 jobs for DH since we first came into the issue of them not giving him his vaca days. I know that we are still going to Disney though which this make me extra happy. I can't help but feel guilty, but I'm just going to enjoy it- there is nothing we can do now.
New plans- probably moving in the next month before Disney- unless DH gets another job around here.

DISNEY NEWS- this last weekend we went to my parents for Easter dinner. My mom has been purchasing little Disney things all along and now she is getting excited. She bought us (Mom and I) Disney pjs. I already have pjs but mine are more for winter- and these ones are thin and nice for cool nights. I couldn't find either of ares online. But hers are pink Mickey ones, and mine are white with minnie and mickey in love. Here is the print:

Then mom ordered us Mickey diamond necklaces from Avon- and it matches my ring I bought from disney our last trip:

I'm glad that she is buying me little gifts.. especially since my shopping fiasco is probably at an end now..

NEW DINING CHANGES:
I'm not sure if I mentioned this before or not, but I have been trying to add/change a few of my dining reservations because 1 day my Gma is visiting us and 1 day my best friend Amber is visiting us. So I'm trying to change reservations for a new number of people a month before (YES I KNOW CRAZY)! Basically, everything I've checked to change is all booked up the entire time we are there- so its not even like I can change our plans around. It's been crazy. So I decided to add Tony's to the list- because that was open during lunch time (only) on the day my Gma is visiting. She won't be staying late because she lives about 40 minutes away, so I figured it would be most convenient to have a meal earlier- and at MK.. so we don't have to take a bus or anything anywhere. BUT since I've added this- I now have cancel one of the other ones.. I have no idea which one to drop and don't want to drop any. I'll post the results when I finally have them figured out. I might keep checking EVERY DAY for an reservation opening during until our trip.

So Thursday, June 2nd- My Grandma is visiting us at MK. We are dining at Tony's Town Square at 12:35 for lunch. and I am looking forward to the spaghetti- the pictures make it look amazingly delicious!
