When you were a teen what colour theme...

i'm still a teen and my room is a light purple (lilac or lavender or something like that). i have a beige carpet like the rest of the house. my curtains and bedspread have purple flowers on them to match my walls. not very exciting but i like it.

I might regret admitting this later, but here it goes:

In JR High all my walls were completely plastered with pictures of hot dudes (well guys who I thought were hot at the time) and bands I liked. Johnny Depp, Billy Zane, Jon Bon Jovi, Dweezil Zappa, George Michael, Guns N Roses, Faith No More, Rob Lowe, Tom Cruise, etc.

Then in high school, I kind of got rid of the Tiger Beat decor :rotfl: and replaced it with 1 or 2 posters (Jane's Addiction, The Cure) and some of my friends' artwork or whatever other junk looked "cool" at the time... I was going through a black phase. Everything was black.

When I was home I had a grey -blue color carpet and eggshell colored walls with the lightest hint of blue..... My comforter was different shades of blue with light yellow....it was a quilt my mom made me.

I want to do our room in blue and yellow but I have to have a house first.

Well the first room I had as a teen was dark purple walls w/ off orange carpet (YUCK!) and my sheets/comforter where dark purple, blue and black checks. Then a year or two later I had White furniture with roses on them, pink walls, wood floors... very cute... when I went to live with my dad I had hodge podge. White walls (lived in an apartment) with all sorts of posters on them, green sheets and a mix of yard sale furniture, but I thought it was cool.
When I turned 18 and moved to Gainesville and got my first apt. our room was white walls, but the bed set and curtains I made black with fish. Currently it's Sun/Moon/Stars.

:D

My room was literally half black, half white, right down the middle. I told my mother that I wanted to do something different, and she allowed it, as long as I agreed to keep my door shut, which definitely wasn't a problem. My room stayed that way until I was 20 and then I realized that it was time for another change, so I went back to having an all white room.

It was standard floral wallpaper with white units, but I covered the walls with rock posters and little pictures of faces and stars in luminous paint! (well it was the 60's!)

Dark purple walls. Flat black ceiling. Bright orange radiator. It was sort of like living in a cave.
