When you make a character in the park...

Does all the stuff you get from registering in a park go into your inventory or do you get codes or cards?

I am curious to know what happens.

Do you mean the things like black ears? When you sign up at the park it's just like when you sign up online only when you pick a room, it gives that room and all the other ones on the list so you atart the gam with 5 rooms! Then a message pops up about all the clothing you have and black ears i part of it. You might also get a couple more peices of clothing i'm not sure. It also gives you a green turnstyle as a special in-park bonus. All of it is in your inventory!

Then if your at Disneyland or WDW you can do the quests and go back to innoventions or vmk central and get all the cool quest stuff.

It's really fun! If you ever get to do it I highly recommend making an in-park character!

They changed the rooms when they added the Bayou room. Born in Park characters get Mad Hatter room, Boothill, Nemos Submarine Room, Tiki room, and a room of your choice. You also get the Disneyland pin.
