do you pick new restaurants for every trip, or do you stick with the same ones you have already been to? I like to do a little of both. I have some fav's that I like to always do, such as WCC and BOMA. But other than that, a little different ones, too. So how about you? popcorn::

We do a bit of both...some old favs and try new places.

Mostly we try new things, but we also include a few repeats when it is convenient.

I usually like to sandwich the new picks in the middle of the trip because there is nothing worse than starting off the vacation with a bad dinner. I like to start out with a few favs like Spoodles, Artist Point, Chefs de France, then stick a few new ones on the middle, this year it was Yachtsman Steakhouse and Il Mulino at the Swan. Both were exceptional I might add. Then for the end of the trip I usually save Citricos for the last night or two. This way if the new experience was not a good one, we still have some more meals to look forward to. :)

We keep some favorites, but definitely try and mix some new ones in the batch. We've never done a trip without trying new restaurants.

We always do the first night at BOMA and the last night at V&A or Bistro de Paris. In between, we'll mix it up with some old favs plus some new adventures. We like all kinds of food so it's fun to try something different. Our new one for this trip is going to be bluezoo.

We try new ones but we always do Chef Mickey's - although we have also added California Grill to our must do's.

I have eaten everywhere except the Chinese restaurant in Epcot, the English place in Epcot (we have a Rose and Crown just round the corner from where I live), Hollywood and Vine, Concourse Steakhouse, Mama Melrose, Coral Reef, Narcoosees and Boma.

This time we will be doing Chef Mickey's and California Grill then choosing from the remainder, and we will also be trying out Narcoosees for the first time.

We don't eat everywhere on each trip. We just choose from where we like and where is getting the best reviews at the time, as restaurant quality tends to go up and down. And also plan it all round what we are going to be doing.

There are 3 of us and we work it like this: each of us gets to pick one old favorite to return to, and at least one new place to try for the first time.

We do a little of both, new and old. But we leans toward more old than new. It's hard to give up the old places.

We try to do a little bit of both. We have a couple favorites that we like to go to, but we also like trying new things sometimes. This trip, we're going to WCC, one of our favorites. But we also have Le Cellier and Crystal Palace booked. We try to do a different character meal every trip.

We're going for 6 nights in Dec. and so far only have one old fav booked....O'hana.

We're trying for the first time...drumroll please....

Boma
Captain Jack's
Mama Melrose
Bistro de Paris
and we're hoping to get into 1900 Park Fare.

Take a peek at my signature. :upsidedow The only places we have gone to twice are Raglan Road (because we loved everything about it) and Chef Mickeys (because the second time was for our surprise Grand Gathering and wanted our "first timers" to have this "classic" experience) Next trip, it will be all new places for us-well, maybe Raglan Road, again. :upsidedow

I don't like repeating restaurants while there are still so many I haven't tried, but I'm totally unpicky and I'd love to try every Disney restaurant eventually! As of right now, we have 23 sit down meals planned for our January deluxe dining trip, and the only repeats are Sci-Fi, which we all love for the atmosphere, and ESPN Club and Kona, both of which are repeats from our August trip but will be new to DH.

I'd LIKE to try some new spots--but we seem to always gravitate back to our old favorites.
Which, of course, at one time -were new!!!

I try to do new places each trip, and keep our favorite Kona for dinner, but now with the new menu, our next trip will be all new dinner places.

We have done Cinderella's royal table and San Angel Inn, Kona, 'Ohanas more than once.

Lots of good ideas. I like sandwiching the newer places in between so you start and end your vacation on a good note. I also like having others in your party pick places so everyone can get some input. I do usually do all the planning on my own. But I may now take a different route. Thanks popcorn::

We usually do a little of both leaning toward trying more new restaurants. When we go in March, we are doing a repeat at Yachtsman and Cape May Clambake. All others are new restaurants for us.

I have a few that are a must for us that we do every trip. They are sort of like a tradition. Ohana on the last night is one of them. But we do try to do new ones each trip as well. Its just a hard decision on which ones to skip. We decide when we will do our "musts", then choose which other places we want to go back to. Then we figure out which new ones we want to try. Sometimes our "new" ones become our repeats on the next trip. Other repeats have fallen off the list after a bad visit.

Good question and something we talk about each time before our trip.

We have our favorites as well (Boma, Sci-Fi, Chef Mickey) but we're going to start trying to add at least 2-3 new places each time we go if possible. I would LOVE to try all new restaurants each time we go, but I think that would be tough to do. Guess it's that little voice in my head that says "what if it's not as good as this one or that one." So we've compromised and came up with the 2-3 new restaurant option instead. :)

We'll see how it works out in a few months.
