Do you bring back a kiddie cup for your canine "kiddie"?

Max loves a cup of vanilla soft serve every now and then. Yeah, I know they make FrostyPaws, but I can tell Max likes DQ much better.

We would if the Dairy Queen was closer. Since it's a half hour away, the ice cream would be melted by the time we got home. Our Maggie does get a bit though if we have her with us!!:D

When DH was younger (much) he used to take his black lab, Charbon to the DQ with him and buy her a 5 cent cone.::yes::

When I die, I hope to come back as one of your pooches! lol!

I miss DQ...don't have them out here but grew up loving the summer evenings when my dad would say, "Everyone in the car! We're going for a ride!" We knew we would be stopping at DQ for ice cream.

My DH and DS love DQ. They go all the time. I'm the driver (Atkins, no sugar for me).

We don't have a DQ near us, but we do go to a local ice cream shop once a month and yes, Monty gets a kiddie cone. Usually just a plain cone with one bite of ice cream, as it is bad for him. (But he loves it so!)

We take him to a soft serve ice cream place for his birthday. We tried water ice once and he actually turned his nose up at it. My neighbor who has no dogs buys him Frosty Paws. When we go to her house he walks into her garage and sits in front of the freezer.

We used to take our dogs all the time when we were growing up...Cesare (our sheltie) would get his own little kiddie cup...and then clean off me and my brother!

Our dog, Jazz, is a bit lactose intolerant we think (she has gotten sick after eating cereal and mac and cheese...yes, we give her WAY too much table food)...but she LOVES popsicles...DH shares one with her every night.

I haven't bought frosty paws in a while...maybe I'll pick some up for her next time...see how she likes those.

Nope, our dog doesn't eat people food. Plus, she might get a brain freeze ;) lol, I know I do! ;)

When McDonald's have their 59 cent cones on Sunday's we take our pooch over for a cone.

All of the Dairy Queens in our neck of the woods have closed and became Taco stands or Hamburger joints. I don't have a little pooch either. I guess I'll have to eat all the ice cream myself.

Happy Thoughts to all,

mt2

My best friend from HS used to take his german shepherd to DQ and get a small cone. My friend would hold the cone while the dog licked the top. It used to crack me up to watch the dog lick the cone, and when the crunching of the cone started, I just about lost it:rotfl:
