Two things for me.

1. My first walk into Magic Kingdom as we walk down Main Street and can view Cinderella's Castle in the background. That first walk always gives me chills.

2. Driving to our WDW hotel and seeing the first signs for the Downtown Disney and then the hotels and parks. It's such an excitement and I always think..........We're almost there!!

Anyone else??

Seeing that first billboard off the highway coming from the airport that is touting whichever attraction they're advertising at the moment... I love those 3D billboards...

I'm with crcormier. As soon as I see the Billboards or the signs for Disney, I start clapping my hands and getting very excited, much to my chidren's embarrassment. I'll be doing it again soon :)

We usually drive down. I love seeing the big purple sign with Mickey welcoming us that says "Welcome to the Walt Disney World Resort." But, I hate that sign when I'm leaving that says "See You Real Soon."

I'm with PamNC, the welcome sign on SR 535 (or is it 536? I always get them confused) does it for me...

We always fly, and I love looking for the major attractions from the air, like Spaceship Earth.

I always look and have yet to pick them out... :(

:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :bounce: I am with kyirish25 that sign does it for me.

Just seeing the palm trees at the airport when we land. make me think We are here!! (we dont have many palm trees up here!)

Also, I do love those billboards along the highway.

And yes, the "Magical" Welcome to WDW sign gives me the chills!!

We always drive so we see all the signs all the above posters mentioned, but since we feel the most magic when we are camping.....i get all lumpy when we pull into FW and see the sign saying "Welcome Home". Trafic permitting, we pull over, hop out and take our pics with the sign. Our little pop up camper knows that route by heart. Can't wait to go camping at the Fort again.

(next trip will probably be at a different resort though - camping with an infant is a bugger. Especially when you have a tiny pop.)

We always fly, so it is the monorail like tram at the airport!

Because, why would I be at MCO if I weren't going to Disney?!;)

Well I start feeling it when we arrive at the airport and ride the "monorail" there and then we see the palms. But I KNOW we've arrived when we see the sign "Welcome to the Walt Disney World Resort". Thats when we ALL get so excited and happy and laughing and just everything. I just cant wait!!!

We drive in on I-4 from Tampa and there is a electical pole shaped like Mickey's head right before the Disney exit that always gets me excited!

When we get off the plane in the Orlando airport. I love this airport cause I always know that I am 'home'! Then when we are in the car on our way to the hotel and see all the signs!!! EEE...I am so excited just thinking about it. But my favorite is always seeing the sign welcoming you to WDW!!! I hate this sign though when we are leaving! :( Have a magical day everyone!

We also drive up from Tampa and once we see that Mickey electrical pole we know we have arrived. Just a short loop around the exit and smooth sailing!

I never knew an elecrical tower could ever look so good!

for me, it is the monorail at the airport...that voice just makes my heart flutter...

For me it's also when I walk through the front entrance to the MK and see the Castle. I know that I look like that kid in the commercial a few years ago when he first walks in and sees the castle and his mouth drops open. :earseek: That's me! Except I usually tear up! I know it's silly but I do!

I start getting really excited when we get on the Fla.Turnpike and start seeing the billboards as well!!

:cheer2: :jumping4: :cheer2: :jumping4: :cheer2:

Being from New Hampshire just seeing the palm tree's does it for me also, but seeing my kids faces when they see the MK from the monorail the first times really starts the magic for me.
