a trip to WDW how much do you have to put down and when is the balance due? Once it is paid in full, can you switch hotels? I'm wanting to go ahead and book our next trip, but I don't have enough to pay it off right now. Also, can you make payments or is it all due at once? Thanks a million.

If you book "room only", you have to put down the first night's rent as a deposit. The balance is due when you check in. You have until 6 days from your arrival date to cancel or lose the deposit. Don't know how it works for packages.

In my past experiences of booking (packages), the deposit is $200.00, and then I believe that the final payment is due 45 days before you arrival date. (Either the website or the CM will tell you the exact date that the final payment is due.)
You can make payments however often you would like. Of course, this is provided that you book through Disney, either via phone or the website. I'm not sure how it would work if you book through a TA.
