I don't close the door when I have to use the toilet... but I always close and lock the door when I shower... just in case someone comes home unexpectedly, weird huh?

I always leave it open a little bit, because otherwise I have to deal with the cat. She thinks she can dig her way under ANY closed door in our house to get in/out of a room and we've had to replace carpet because once she dug down through the carpet, through the pad all the way to the concrete.

Nope, and not when I'm home with my DBF in the house either. I don't like closed doors. That and the cats dig under the door... they wanna be in where I am... ALL the time.

When I am home alone I do not close the bathroom door. Doesn't bother me if the dog or cat sees me! When I shower in the morning I leave the door ajar so some of the steam can get out (fan doesn't work worth crap!) and the mirrors don't get all steamed up.

Nope I never close the door. My cat opens it anywayse if I don't latch it or he will paw at the door like crazy. He follows me everywhere and if I'm in the bathroom there he is staring at me. If I'm in the shower there he is on the sink waiting for me with this worried look on his face he doesn't like that I'm in the water. Not like I'm complaining he's my watch cat!!

I ALWAYS close and lock the door. No matter if Im home alone or not. And it doesn't matter if Im home alone, not excepting anyone home for days, and I know no one will stop by. I always shut the door and lock it. Even in the middle of the night. I may hurry down the hall without turning on anylights (even the one in the bathroom), but darn it, I lock that door! I like my privacy and keeping that door shut and locked secures it for me. Even if there is no one to secure it from. I dont think I could go if I didn't.

Our bathroom is off the master bedroom and not visible from the other rooms. If there is someone in the house (besides my wife) I'll close the bedroom door.

I don't close it if I'm going to the bathroom, but if I'm showering, I close it and turn the hair dryer on so it's nice and toasty warm in there when I get out of the shower. I hate being wet and cold!

If I'm home alone I rarely close the door. Now when we are home I never lock the door. (If we have company thats a different story). I have this weird fear of falling in the bathroom (I'm 31 so falling shouldn't really be an issue) and nobody being able to get to me because the door was locked.

going to the bathroom.. I have a toddler who I am trying to potty train so she always comes in with me now. I never lock the door when I am in the shower/ bath jsut in case my kids need me but the know to always knock and stand at the door way and talk to me nver come in and open the shower door ( my boys that is.. My girls come in and even get in sometimes)

When I'm home alone I do not close the door when I use the bathroom but I always close the door when I shower to keep the heat in. I can't stand a draft in the shower.
