When would be the best day for Nemo Subs?

I'll be in DL and DCA June 10 - 15, when would be the best time to ride The Nemo Sub. I have an almost 3 year old and a 6 year old so as little wait as possible.What day and time suggestions?

Just kidding From everything I have read the wait is going to be loooonnnggg. I would definitely get to DL prior to opening on Wed or Thurs and head straight to Nemo and get in line. My only reasoning for choosing those two days: both types of So Cal AP's are blacked out and it is not a weekend. However it is summer and the first week the ride is open. I am sure some others will be along with good advice for you also, but I would be prepared to wait to ride Nemo. Good luck

I think it is Mon/Tue/Thurs/Sat, but I am not 100% sure about that. If you don't have EE one day, I'd opt for Wed if these days are correct.

I thought if you bought at least a 3 day park hopper, I thought they all came with a bonus one day early entry? Did you get park hoppers with a pkg? Maybe that's only if you get them from Disney's web site?

Yup EE days are Mon/Tue/Thurs/Sat. We'll be there Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of that week. We'll be doing EE on Thursday, and plan on rushing over to Nemo if it's open for EE. If not I don't think were going to waste our whole EE time just waiting there. It's our only EE day. But as it gets close to the end of EE we'll make our way over. No doubt they'll be a long line! My goal is to ride it once on this trip!

So I would agree that Wednesday and Thursday would be your best days for it. I'd never count on getting on it without much of a wait, maybe if it available for EE and you really get over there quick!

Thankfully were going in October too, so hopefully by then we'll get to ride it a few times without some crazy waits!

If you are getting a 3+ day ticket you will have one day of EE.

Here is a breakdwon of your days:

June 10 (Sun) - Nemo not open to public yet

June 11 (Mon, EE day) - Nemo opens to public at 11AM - will be a crazy, crazy day and Nemo should be avoided

June 12 (Tue, EE day) - Still crazy but not as crazy as June 11 - avoid Nemo

June 13 (Wed, no EE) - This is the day to ride Nemo - arrive at the DL gates at least 30 minutes early (I would do 45 minutes early if it was me)

June 14 (Thurs, EE day) - Avoid Nemo unless you have multiple EE days

June 15 (Frim no EE) - Another good Nemo day if you get to the gates early.

Looks like Thursday won't be EE anyway because Wednesday is a Grad Night. So were looking to try it Thursday or Friday morning. If it is EE we'll try for Saturday, but I think that's bleak!

Why don't they do early entry if the night before is grad night?

Good question! What I gathered was that because the grads will be in the park all night and until the morning hours, it would probably be hard to clean up afterwards, and get ready for the day and have EE.

Thursday is a Grad night too by the way. Which means on both Wednesday and Thursday the park closes earlier, at 9pm.

SoCal AP's are blacked out the entire month of July. They can start going again around Aug 20.

EE occurs regularly year round, with the exception of grad nights the night before and things like the POTC premiere last Saturday (I believe they canceled EE for that - but did not hear for sure one way or the other). There will be no canceled EE's in July if that is your concern.

I just called Disneyland and according to the computers "today" it says that Early Entry will be Mon, Tues, Wed, & Sat the week of the 10-16. Just thought I would let you know.

I am going to be at Disney at that time as well..(13-17) and I am just resolving to be in a big lineat Nemo..because I want to do Fantasyland with my EE..as the lines go much slower...

I have the Disneyland Dashboard to figure out when the blackout days are. As said before all of July is blacked out for the SoCal passes. However you might want to consider a deluxe pass. Only the 4th and the saturdays are blocked out in July.
