Faron has two free round trip flights and our anniversar is Feb. 8. I am thinking about a quick trip to Disney World just two nights One park day. We have ALWAYS wanted to spend a day at Epcot with out the kids. We wouldn't go to any other parks because we are going in Nov. I also don't want to make this a long trip because we really can't leave Grace for longer than two nights. I think we would also stay at POP. What do you think? Should I surprise him? Say yes. I hope this works...............

You know I love AKL. Love, love, love it! However, with both Rosie and Jordan staying at Pop, that would be fun too!

Go with the DDP -- it makes things so much easier in my opinion.

I completely understand I am so unable to help with the math !!!It makes NO sense to me at all !!! Come to think of it Math never made sense to me !!! I told my math teacher I didn't care if one triangle equalled ANOTHER !!She informed me I needed to know so I so I would know how many feet of carpet I needed to carpet a room !! I looked at her and said !! " I'd leave that to guy installing it "

As I recall that was another trip to the Principals office !!!!

I can't wait to have my kitchen all done so I can cook again...never thought I'd miss that..

Mine is going to be later than everyone elses because I booked it under DH's name with me as the agent. It has to go to my "mother agency" then they send it to me. Same thing if I sell a vacation to someone else. It drives me nuts and makes me nervous every time. It does get here on time, just not as early as it would if we'd book it directly.

I know what you mean. I love cooking so much more in my new kitchen!!

I've been thinking......according to D.Jay that always means it's going to cost him...anyhoo, I've been thinking about switching resorts...
Here's my thinking....If I switched back to the original plan CBR it would cost about $800...b ut with the card offer I'd get one for $500, so actually I'd only be paying $300 more.
What I really, really, want to do is upgade to AkL...Than would be $1300 more but I'd get a card for $750, which means I'd be paying $550...right?
Also, I'm thinking of adding the ddp. Originaly I didn't get it thinking we'd try it without, but after looking at where we want to eat, we'd be saving if we get it.
I'm not good at making decisions. If it's a really important thing I can make them fairly easily but these type where it doesn't impact my life, I can't make up my mind.
I'm sure it drives d.jay crazy.
I've also been thinking about our itenerary, I feel a little lost becauseit's never been as "loose" as this.
On our first trip, I had read everything I could get my hands on. I had the ultimate plan with almost every minute planned out. Because it was going to be our only trip there and I wanted to make sure we saw everything.

Trip 2 was with the kids so again I had to get everything in for our families one time disney world trip....

trip 3 was a makeup trip since we missed alot due to my dental emergency, so it was scheduled to make sure we got everything

trip 4 was with MIL so again, I had to make sure we saw everything

This time I decided that I wasn't going to have as much scheduled so we can relax a little more. But it's just killing me to not have it all planned. I feel a constant need to tweek things here and there.

I'm worried that I'll panic when we aren't at every rope drop.

And worry number 3 is I'm not quite satisfied with our ADR's...I don't know why, but it just isn't right.

Tutto Italia is the only one we've tried before. If I do the ddp I need 2 more.

I'd like to fit in Kona and I wanted to try Sanaa, but d.jay isnt' an adventerous eater and I don't want him to not enjoy it.
My other thought is Boma...we went on our first trip and thought it was ok, but nothing special. but, I'm thinking of trying it again.

I'm so glad that I have all of you to help me think! Because no one here wants to listen to me ramble on about all of this. D.Jay listens but his eyes glaze over after about 30 seconds and his answer is always, do what ever you want.

I think we have all had our moments of "what if...." and thinking about upgrading. I thought about switching us to Beach Club because I'm not sure if we would ever be able to afford staying there otherwise. By the time I got the guts to check on it with the special it was all booked up. I guess it's good. I really should just stay with what I have and stop spending money!!

I would definitely add Kona!! We are going to Kona on our last night, I think. I thought you already booked that one??

probably stick with Pop...which is great anyway. We enjoyed it and d.jay says it's sentimental because it's where we stayed the first time. Plus the added bonus of you and Rosie being there.
you sound slightly unstable when it comes to resort choices.

I think my logicall side is winning because for the price of the upgrade I can get the new dinning table I need...ours is about to fall apart and I can't have a pretty new kitchen with an ugly table.

Hopelessly lost and behind after the weekend, but here to say, hmmm.... I feel your pain. Maroo is always wondering about changes and upgrades. By the time we're done we'll be staying at all the resorts with different packages/ deals with each one! I like simple. The KISS method for me has always worked. Just my two cents.

I agree with the KISS method , but sometimes I get wrapped up in 'what if's".
I've thought about doing a split stay, but I don't want to unpack and then repack...

I have always stayed at Pop !! It suits me fine !! The bigger resorts are tooooo spread out for me !! I got lost looking around AKL last year !!I always get the ddp cuz I am a cheapskate and if I didn't have it paid for would be ordering bread and water Plus when the kids go it is soooo nice to just let them order what ever they want , which is usually steak and for them to get dessert too is very popular!!! I like the Hopper but they really don't 1 park a day is fine for them !!! Next time they do want to do the water parks which hold little interest for me !!! Also want to do Universal which again doesn't interest me !!!

I'd like to try the waterparks at some point, but I don't put on a swimsuit unless neccesary....and the whole world thanks me for that.

I don't know...I haven't looked into it. With all the havoc around here with the remodel I think I'll just stick to pop.

that's good to know. Even the "value" resorts are nicer than most hotels.....I was explaing the wonders of staying on property to someone and they asked if Value meant it's like a motel 6.
