When worlds collide~the original flats meet in 4D!!

I think I saw that in the bookstore at xmas time and didn't allow myself to go there. Is it in paperback yet? I should reserve it from the Library, trying to be a bit more responsible with my book purchases...although Elizabeth Woodville wasn't terribly endearing in The Tudor Rose....did you like it?

I read it a few months ago and really liked it. Elizabeth Woodville was definitely presented in a more sympathetic light. I haven't read The Tudor Rose but am assuming that one is about her daughter?

Yes, it's about her daughter, Elizabeth of York, it's by a different author though. It seems to be a trend, the girls start out pretty decent but by the time they have children of their own they've become rather hardened and cynical and it's all about the politics.

The book was not kind to Elizabeth Woodville but I'll be very interested to read the White Queen.

Glad to :lmao:make you spit allover your screen !!!:lmao:You sure have caused mine to have many a spray!!!:rotfl2:

I think we could help you with LOGIC !!! Beingas we are all so logical!!:rotfl2:As for History mine is limited to British !!!! Most of that learned from novels :lmao: I would have helped with the "chonies " papers though!!!:rotfl2:
Right now I am having a strange convesation with a 2 year old !! I am not sure if he's swearing at me or not He is jabbering away and waving his hands ,he's about 2 feet tall and I haven't a clue what he is talking about !! I just said "What Sean " And actually understood ""Whadda ya fink!!!""":rolleyes1 He is obviously upset at my lack of understanding !!!:scared1:
who is the 2 yr old your'e talking to? I'm confused.

I need to make the trip to Target maybe at the 2 week mark.

Comfort vs Style. I can tell I'm hitting middle age--comfort is starting to win over style. I don't care what I look like as long as it's comfortable.

You and Cherie are putting me to shame--shopping wise.

We can help with the homework....:thumbsup2
as far as the parks are concerned comfort has won out , but I hate wearing my clunky tennis shoes with capris , I've tried crocs but thhey aren't that comfortable to me.

for a man, you're doing great with shopping!
When I married d.Jay he was 24 and still owned most of his shirts from junior high!!:eek:I won't even go into the state of his underwear or the white tube socks with colored stripes at the top circa~1982 .

I only know 1 man who likes to shop and that's my little brother....he even shops for his wife. Maybe it's because he grew up with 4 older sisters.

I'd love help with the homework.....as long as it improves my grade.;)

Hey Winkers! I'm late, but I'm here. I've read some of your old TRs and they are hilarious. Just wanted to say hi, now I gotta back up to page one and read....might take me a while to catch up....
Welcome!!! I'm glad you made it over!

Hey, that only took me an hour - not bad! Okay, so I skimmed the in between stuff. Pretty cool that you have switched to Pop and added a day - aren't Rosie and Jordan (part of the time) staying at Pop, too?
I go slow , so it isn't usualy too hard to catch up
Okay, so these comments are a bit late, but anyway:

Have you been watching the Showtime series? That's what got me interested in them and I started reading Phillipa Gregory. Worked my way through all of her Tudor books, and just finished Earthly Joys and Virgin Earth.
I was excited when I heard about the showtime series, so I ordered it from netflix....I didn't get past the first episode....it was a little too grafic for me...I generaly don't even watch R rated movies....

I haven't read Phillipa's other series...but it's on my list.

Have you read The White Queen yet? I think its Phillipa Gregory's newest. Its about Elizabeth Woodville, the mother of the Queen Elizabeth written about in The Tudor Rose.
I did, and thought it was pretty good. It's fun to read about the same people from different perspectives.

I think you'd love Pillars of the Earth, and World Without End by Ken Follett. Two of the best books I've ever read.
I did and loved them...Pillars of the Earth is the only "oprah" book club book that interested me.

Oh, and I'm a huge Jane Austen fan too :thumbsup2 I think we share the same taste in books!
you can't go wrong with Mr. Darcy and Edward Ferris....I need a swoon smilie.

I've been trying to convice d.jay of that for 17 years, but he still doesn't get it.

Mnnn! Ruebens!!!!!!!!!!!! Though I prefer my kraut on the side, not on my sandwhich.
that's what we're having tonight....yum.

Logic. I think I'm a freak. It was, seriously, my favorite class in college. Go figure. My dream math credit!
I wish I could wrap by brain around it and love it...but I always seem to be confused. I guess my mind doesn't work that way. I know, it's shocking!:lmao:
.

I have one word for shoes.

Zappos. Free shipping. Free returns. A bazillion choices.

:I've thought of trying them but I'm worried about the time it would take to return them untill I found the right ones.
Last summer my sister, who is the Queen of shopping and can shop for 12 hours and not be tired or bored, was ready to strangle me when she went sho shopping with me.

I have major issues with tennis shoes. To me, they are for the gym. Or a hike. I just can't do it for the parks. Won't. This was my compromise for our trip last feb. Bear in mind I have had bunion surgery as well (of course I do still wear 4" heels but that's another story, it took my years to work back UP to them).
I feel the same way about them.....I can't wait to be able to wear heels again! But I still have tohave the left foot done.

No, they aren't cheap. They were worth it though! Nice and wide where I need them to be.

I'm going to go look at them

Yes, I did..but I've liked all of her books.
What I've started doing is buying my books from hastings because they have a buy back program..

I don't remember.....I've read so many of them.:upsidedow

Where's Winkers !!! We need some "POO" talk or 'putor spiting humor !!:lmao:
it's good to know that I'm the go to gal when it comes to "poo".

there's another series that is really good...

there are 2 that follow...I loved them.

:rotfl2: Do we get to see pics of what you bought?

Good luck with the school. You going to take some pics of the new stuff for us??

I LOVE shopping online! Especially for things for trips! I love your shirts. I REALLY like the rainshowers mickey/minnie one. That shirt would of fit my last trip perfectly with all the rain we GOT. hehe

Great shirts!

I can't wait to be able to actually BUY some shirts from Disneyonline. I can never find a 2x that looks girly! Hopefully, this time next year, I'll be doing some serious online shopping for Disney shirts in my NEW size (as yet to be determined). lol

I have a hard time with the site too. The problem is they're either boxy like a mans or made to fit really snug.
For everyone's benefit, I don't wear really tight shirts.

Okay Cherie !!! Sean( the 2 year old is our neighbor 's son !!! His older brother and Kyle are best friends and Judy and The Mom are very close !!! They are over frequently, but last night Sean decided to "TALK" to me !!! Usually he is with the girls as they babysit him often!!

Next How did you post those pix I tried and couldn't !!:rotfl2:I know that shocks you that Rosie had 'putor troubles !!:lmao:

Hey, Cherie,

I'm back. Really, really back. I won't even pretend that I have clue about what's going on here; I'm just picking it up from this page. Nice shirts. I imagine you posted them for a reason, but I missed that.
