I really should have taken a photo of my fallen tree.

It's been standing again for 3 days now, fingers crossed it stays that way!

I was so clueless on that one!! I had absolutely NO idea where you had gotten that outrageous thought of merry thongs from. Some people!

One of the fun things about the area i grew up in, is there's alot of Christmasy things to do. Having lived in what has to be the end of the earth, for the past 15 years, my kids are used to a light display consisting of a couple blow up animals, a few lights and if we're lucky a nativity scene.

Tonight we headed a little north of us to Willard Bay state park for their festival of lights....to us it was like a wonderland.

We spent the first 20 minutes in line waiting for the horse drawn hayride...so i had to pull out the camera for some entertainment...

the guy who took this was a little trigger happy and snapped on 2 instead of 3..

salute to Jordan...we were afraid their tongues might freeze..

this is my brother Aaron...his nose was cold so he borrowed Bailie's scarf..

later his ears were cold...

After our ride we went to visit Santa....

Bailie didn't want to sit on Santa's lap....

We had a fun time and were frozen by the time we were done. tomorrow is our big christmas party...perhaps I'll have some more tongue pics by the end of the night.

My mom made all of us (all her kids and grandkids) fleece throws like the one Ethan has around himself while on Santa's lap. They're like a homemade snuggie.
