When will we get Merry Mixer dates?

The Member Merry Mixer events are set to return in 2007. The will event will be held just outside Epcot's International Gateway between the hours of 3pm - 5pm on the afternoon of December 6, 13, 20 and 27.

The Member Merry Mixer is a DVC members-only event designed to celebrate the holidays. Free gifts are normally distributed and refreshments are served. Characters will be on hand for photos and they typically feature live music, raffles, and other scheduled events.

It has never started in November, but always one each of the December weeks, excluding Christmas.

Quick question about who can attend--I'm a DVC member and DH is an associate on the membership. We're also bringing my parents with us on this trip (they are staying on our Starwood points over at the Dolphin). Can DH and my parents come in with me even though I'm the only one with a blue DVC card?

I also was hoping. I know it's never started that early, but this is the second time I've been checking out on the day it started. And since my flight's at 3:15, I don't see even catching the beginning of it. Oh, well-my luck!

We go to the last one every year. Sugar cookies and hot apple cider (I think) were served. The character interaction is good and the DJ is pretty lame. They have a raffle but we never won anything ... that's OK though. Everyone gets a small gift like a pewter keychain or ornament. I don't remember if you can bring guests in.

We met some of the incoming and outgoing Disney Ambassadors last year which was really cool.

December 27th works perfect for us! We arrive around 10:30am that morning and have 5:30 pm dinner reservations at Tutto Italia. We can hit the Merry Mixer at 3-5, go to dinner, then followed by a visit to Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights! Looks like a perfect night to me!

Looking forward to meeting some of our DVC/DisBoard friends.

My guess is that this will be the gift this year. They gave this out at DVC's Doorway to Dreams up here in Chicagoland but it is only specific to 2007 not to Doorway to Dreams. I think it is cute!

I hope those dates are correct. That gives me two choices.

Hopefully, a few of the DVC members I know will be down there will go with me. It's not much fun alone. I was in and out in 10 minutes last year. Filled out my raffle ticket, took a picture of Mickey and left with my ornament.

Thanks for the dates and times. I am a new DVC member so this will be my first merry mixer. I will be able to attend on the 13th.

Last year the Merry Mixer invite we got when we checked into VWL had a line that specifically said friends and family could accompany you- our 2 friends did and had a great time. DVC will not miss a chance to hook some "fresh meat"!

We check in on the 13th but I don't know if we will be able to get over there that early. I wish they would add more days.
