For a trip in early August, about what time does the temp start cooling down a little bit? Making ADR's and such and just trying to find out from folks who take a mid afternoon break from parks, what time do you usually head back?

It's hot anytime the sun is out. But for a time when it starts dropping slightly in temp, around 6-7pm.

We are AP's so we normally hit the park in the morning, leave around noon or 1, then go back to another park around 6 or 7. We go pretty often, so we don't mind not staying in the parks all day.

But be prepared for the heat. The only time it's really not hot is when the sun is down..and even then it's still warm lol.

Like for tomorrow. At 1pm it's going to be 88 degrees (without humidity), it doesn't drop until 7pm when it gets down to a chilly 83 lol. By 10pm it's 76 and that's as cool as it'll get all night.

Thank you so much! We usually visit in late May, and that's usually how we do the parks. So sounds like my planning won't change much, it will just be much hotter and humid. Small price to pay for being back at WDW:)

August is nasty. Sometimes I sweat walking my dog at 930 p.m. It rarely goes below 80 till well after the sun sets in August, mid 80's is common. Be sure to stay hydrated and reapply sunscreen even if you don't think you need it.

We usually take our breaks at 12 in August and go back to the parks around 5, it doesn't really cool down until the sun is completely down. Even then it isn't much relief but the hot sun is no longer beating on you so thats a plus. We always go in August. Last summer we went and it rained around 6pm and we were actually chilly the rest of the night. That was nice. lol

You WILL sweat at night also.:)

I remember watching IllumiNations one night in July and really sweating just standing there!:)
