When will they start selling VC - GCV?

We just got back from a trip to disneyland and stayed at the GC. It was awesome. I could definitely see buying points there to say once every three years.

When do they anticipate starting to sell these? I know that founding members get the first shot, but when can other DVC members get in on the action?

I keep asking this, too. I would have thought that sales would coincide with the opening of the GC models. Why have models of a resort no one can purchase yet? But people on here have said sales won't being until early 2009. I'm just trying to keep my ears open.

Agreed. How will that affect those that really want to buy into GCV after seeing the models and then are told"sorry - not yet"?

They must be planning on expanding the '50 planned' GCV units at some point. Doesn't seem to make much sense to build GCV models if they might sell out before the public even has a chance to buy (or shortly after)...

Regarding their plans before they can start selling GCV: They might just continue to sell the current GCV Founding Member promotion of 'you must buy 160 AKV or SSR to get advanced purchase opportunity for these GCVs'. Seems kind of like a 'bait and switch', but I can't wait for them to open anyway!
