When will the new Italian restaurant open?

Can we make ADR's now for the new restaurant in Italy for our trip in November?

Alfredo's is ending its partnership with Disney as of 8/31. The Patina Group will take over management of the Italy pavilion restaurant on 9/1. It will continue to be open and serving food, but the name will no longer be "Alfredo's". The Patina Group will unveil their new, flagship restaurant in Fall '08- presumably after a short rehab closing, maybe during summer '08. In the interim, they will continue to serve Italian food in the current restaurant space.

I believe I read somewhere that they would continue operating with a standard menu containing the normal Italian fare until the re-opening mentioned in the post above.

Can you make ADR's or is it walk of only?

I called last week to make reservations there for Sept 2007. They told me that they are not taking reservations right now. It depends on the new owners once they get in there. She did say to try and call back at another time.

To me it sounded like once it is taken over it may close for refurbishment and then reopen.
