When will the dates for the Christmas parades be announced?

I booked our trip this morning! When will the dates that the special Christmas parades run be announced? I know last year AK and MGM's parades ran through Jan. 2, but I wonder if that was because Jan. 2 was a Sunday. Do you think Jan. 1 will be the last day in 2006? I read somewhere on this site that Osborne Lights will run through Jan. 8, 2006. Right now we're arriving Thurs. Dec. 29 to give us one day in each park to do all the special Christmas stuff. DH would rather arrive a few days later to avoid some of the crowds, but I want to see the parades. Never too soon to start obsessing!

Just be prepared for the heaviest crowds of the year on the days you mentioned. Not necessarily a reason to stay away, but be sure you know what you're getting into.

I did a search on allearsnet.com - I know it doesn't answer your question but here's what I found for 2004:

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade will step off at the Magic Kingdom every afternoon at 2:00 p.m., beginning Saturday, December 18, until Thursday, December 23, 2004. From Friday, December 24, 2004, through Saturday, January 1, 2005, it will be performed twice daily at 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. On Sunday, January 2, 2005, the Share a Dream Come True Parade returns every afternoon at 3:00 p.m.

Yes, I know it'll be very crowded. Thanks for the warning though. I'm always sad when I read posts from people who plan to go Easter or Christmas week without realizing what they're in for. I'm planning on going to the parks on those days just to see the special Christmas stuff.

My trip dates are based on that info from allears.net. I'd still like to know when the 2005 info will be out. I'm so excited!
