Their website says Jan 9 they will be releasing their dates but does anyone think there's a chance they might release early????

It used to say Dec. 20 then they switched it to Jan 9. Still says subject to change so I hope they don't make it even later.

Just be ready and keep checking! The last time they opened up all the special web fares sold out in 20 minutes. It was a nightmare trying to get in. Ugh.

If it helps, when they opened it up last November, it opened the day they said it would, at about 11am. So be ready!

just wondering...

when the rates came out in late June/early July they were approx. 20% higher than the ones I finally booked a month or so later (non DING, some sale price)

anyone notice a sim pattern with the Nov. release?

hate to take a chance & get shut out on tix to DL in June, even though i'm Xmas-broke:laughing:

How can I tell when Southwest is going to release dates? We're planning on going in October but it's only taking reservations through May. Is there a place on the site that says when they'll release the dates?

How crazy is this???? :rotfl: We have been waiting forever and a day to book our May 1- May 10th trip.....can you even believe that the dates stop on May 9th:rolleyes1 ?? I check every morning..:surfweb: That is our luck, I feel for the rest of you too. Hang in there, Good things come to those who wait. :wizard:

Thanks for the link. I was looking all over for the information in the body of the page :scratchin and THEN went back up to the top to read the information. Doh!

You should probably consider booking one-way for May 1 since SW rarely discounts for round-trip pricing. Booking one-ways also gives you more flexibility in case the price of one way goes down via a DING fare. I always fly SW and rarely if ever book round trips. Good luck!

That's a good idea. I wish I'd known that last year although I still got an awesome deal, but had to go through Tampa which wasn't a big deal. The DING fares I got for Tampa spanned lat June and early July, but for MCO it ended June 30. I didn't think to book one way and then the other later, but I paid $29/each way and had great flight hours and very little crowd.

This year we are also going June 22-July 1st. DH doesn't want to pay over $49 maybe $59/each way per person. Do you think I should book when the rates come out and then hope for a DING? Or just wait for a DING? We have no problems driving if it comes to that so we don't have to fly.

Waiting, waiting, waiting,:dance3:
