when will see 2008 point charts?

Hi everyone: does anyone have the "inside scoop" as to when we will see 2008 point charts for the Disney Collection? I know that there has been a delay b/c Disney has not released the 2008 resort pricing but we are getting anxious to make a reservation at the GF in the first part of 08.

how funny, just coming here to make a thread about the same thing. Can't log on to DVC membership for some reason and they are closed till tomorrow so thought I would come here to see if anyone new about the 2008 for the GC also before our cruise.

They are taking there sweet time and due to the cruise coming here in CA in 2008 alot of cruisers will be staying there before hand so want to be sure to book before the rooms are gone.

So when are you looking on heading there? We want to go there for Christmas than again in July 2008. They have to be coming out soon because they are already past the 11 month mark.

The " '08 " points chart for Disney owned locales has been released for a year + now.....I got an '07/'08 booklet that gives all of those point costs for both years.

I am "impatiently" waiting to here about the 2008 points for CR or Poly. I spoke to MS today (like I do every day!) and they said that they were hoping for July or August. We will see.

I got the hard cover book a few weeks ago because we are considering buying into DVC. The book I have has all the 2008 points in it. I have all the points for DVC resorts, Disney Collection, Concierge Collection, World Passport, and Adventurer Collection. If you want to know now, let me know, and I'll look it up for you.

I've been lurking around here lately trying to get my ammo ready since DH isn't completely sold on this yet.

Thanks Brave teacher! Could you possibly post the points for Grand Floridian in adventure season (January) including weekdays and weekends? I wonder if these charts will be subject to changes once the new resort (non-DVC) pricing comes out in a few weeks. Any disclaimer in the book about such?

I have been trying to make a Poly concierge ressie for January 1, 2008 (already have a ressie for 12/30,31,2007) since February 2!!! It just infuriates me that it is almost JULY and we don't have those 2008 Disney Collecion points. That's ridiculous! Brave teacher, if you have access to the Disney Collection information for January 2008, I'd appreciate knowing the points needed to stay at the Poly Concierge/King Kamehameha Club on Tuesday January 1,2008. Thanks muchly!

I had no problem booking a cash ressie at GF for Dec. 31-Jan.6 but wish that I could use points instead. At least I know that we have what we want even if we have to pay cash. Hope that the new prices and points will get out soon, I hate all the waiting!

No problem, Brave Teacher. I was afraid that might be the case. Appreciate the fact you took time to look for us. Since I haven't been able to reserve at Poly I've been trying to book OKW for January 1st--I was able to book Jan 2 to the 15th--but they say OKW is completely full on Jan 1st. That REALLY surprised me considering the size of OKW! Somehow I just figured people would be checking out on Jan 1st to return home. I'm on the wait list and hoping for the best!

I was making a reservation the other day, and I asked about the Disneyland hotel points for 2008. The CM at member services said they don't have them yet.

Guys, Try downloading the "BVC Planner" from CASKBILL.COM. It is free & gives you all the point charts for the life of the cnotracts. It is fun to use & is accurate.
