When will I pay my balance?

Hi

I've booked our accommodation for October online through the UK Disney Travel Company, and paid a deposit. As far as I know, I'm due to pay the balance next week, but so far, no further email from them requesting this.

Does anyone know when I can expect them to contact me?

As a general rule it's usually 2 months or 8 weeks or so before arrival.

Contact them and ask? or does it say on any documentation you have?

They won't contact you. It says somewhere on their website under terms & conditions (I think) that they don't send out a reminder, it's up to you to pay on time.

You know the date you have to pay by so make sure you pay it by then, I think it also says somewhere that not paying on time constitutes a cancellation on your part and your booking will be released.

Thanks for this, but they said they would contact me. The original receipt for the deposit has the deposit amount and the balance owed, but ommitted the date the balance was due.

I emailed them and they said they would post a request for the balance when it was due - my question to you all was when could I expect this to come?

I agree with Johnny that it is usually 8 weeks before, so I would expect them to contact you shortly :) If you're worried i'd give them a ring, sometimes this has more impact than an E-mail which can easily be ignored/overlooked.

I also booked thru WDW UK & it definately says that they do not contact you but in the small print on the back of the confirmation letter it states that payment must be made in full 8 weeks before departure & that failure to do so they cancel your holiday with loss of deposit.
SD:thumbsup2

Go on-line to their website and click on tickets & reservations, click on existing bookings and put in your reference number (mine was 6 digits) and your booking should come up with all the details, i'm sure it tells you when the balance is due but because I paid mine in full months ago it just says paid in full now.

Shortly after I received my paperwork for my booking I made an amendment and they said they would send out another confirmation but they never did but I paid up shortly after anyway and just received an invoice showing i'd paid in full.

I really think it depends on if you speak to someone in Hammersmith or if they put you through to the US.

Thank you for your help pixiepower04. I followed your instructions, and it had the due payment date there (which was next week) so I've paid it today!

I have an email from them saying they would let me know, but I think you are correct in saying that they wouldn't have!!!!
