When will I know…

Hi! 1st cruise leaving Monday. Super excited and trying to pack. How do or when will I know my dining rotation? I would like to wear certain outfits for each restaurant and I don’t know what the first place will be on Monday. I have 2nd dining and I am hoping that our luggage will arrive before then. But then I read to make sure you bring Everything you need in your carry- on until luggage arrives. So swimsuits and drinks and some toiletries. But should I pack our first dinner outfit in the carry on? My anxiety just escalated . In my mind I said it would be Animator’s. So if I put that outfit in my carry-on and I get a different restaurant… grr. I keep checking my navigator but it doesn’t tell me that info. Or am I missing something? Also would be nice to see what the daily activities and shows are ahead of time so I can make a plan. I know we won’t be able to do it all but some pre planning would be nice to calm my anxiety. Any advice?

It use to be on the KTTW card (Key to the World) but that has been removed. It will be on your Navigator app once you are on the ship. If you have a concierge they can get the information. The first night is really casual. Some people haven't received their luggage yet.

I would suggest bringing whatever you want to wear to dinner in your carry on bag just because if you’re gonna see the show the first night you might not have time to run and change.

We've had 4 cruises and always had our luggage delivered before main dinner. You should be fine to have it before second seating. Since you won't know what your rotation is until you arrive, you can't just pack that one dinner outfit in your carry-on bag.

If your luggage hasn't shown up by second seating, you've got bigger concerns than not having your outfit coordinate with the main dining that evening.

Luggage is usually ready when the rooms are (around 2pm) or at most a couple of hours later. Why carry on more than you have to? You’ll be fine.

I wouldn't worry about having your clothes in time. We always have late dining(24 times) and never not had our bags before dinner. I think only once we didn't have everything by the assembly drill back when it was at 4:00.

We've only checked luggage once (first cruise Magic 2009) and it didn't arrive until well after dinner. Carry on our own from that moment on.

This is normally true but on occasion it can take longer
