When will I be able to use points!

Hello everyone,
We had been planning a BLT add on about this time and thought we would have enough time before the March 1 opening of reservations. My question is if I call tomorrow to do the add-on how long will it be until I can make a reservation. I want early December so bad and know it will be a long shot if I cannot make ressies on Sunday

The hardest part is getting your guide on the phone

If you can reach them, then they should be able to have your points in your account. You can book right away, but your stay has to occur after you close so you should be safe with that.

Good Luck, I would call first thing and let your guide know what you are trying to do.

I did an add on while I was there in September and my points were in my account when I got back to my Villa and logged onto the DVC member site. I think as soon as you give them a credit card for the down payment and they have the papers drawn up it shouldn't take too long.

Usually with the add on your points are available right away. Friends of ours added on and their points were available the same day. Like PP said, as long as your payment is made, the points are there.
