When will Christmas decorations be up?

Has anyone heard or can give an educated guess when Christmas decorations will be up? I know they start making the change right after Halloween but I can't remember when the big tree gets put up ect. I have a friend that wants to go specifically to see all the decorations but has a specific time frame she can go as well. Her dates are November 4-11th. My question is if they will be complete by the 10th?

For the past 3 years, the Christmas decorations were up and parade starting during the Avengers Half marathon, which is Nov 9 - 12 this year. So if things go they way they have, yes, everything should be Christmasy.

A lot of the Christmas decorations will go up that week. That doesn't mean that Christmas festivities will start that week, though. They usually kick off the Christmas fireworks, parade and shows on Veteran's Day.

As ImDMous said, for the last three years (since the start of the Avengers/Super Heroes Half Marathon), they coincided the official start of the holiday season with that weekend (11/10/16, 11/13/15, and 11/13/14). Some things may start or open earlier, but the official start has been either Thursday or Friday of the Avengers/Super Heroes Half Marathon weekend and that's when most things (e.g., parade, fireworks, decorations, WoC, trees, gingerbread houses, etc.) should be up and running.

Does the marathon make a big difference in attendance? I've been when marathons have been on but they were also holiday weekends.
