When was late (Nov/Dec) FD announced in '08?

Hey folks,

Can someone help me? Does anyone have a record of the exact dates that they announced the offer for Free Dining in late season (October / November / December) last year? I seem to remember it went out to Disney card holders and a targeted PIN in late-September, and then to the general public (GP) later in the year. I went to mousesavers, and they list for Visa Cardholders that it came out September 18th, but don't list a GP code, which I thought they did do eventually.

Here's why I ask...we currently have a 40 % off code for booking our dates (Dec 13th through 20th) which I can book either as a package or a room only. I already booked as room only-which allows me to cancel up to 5-days before. However, I want the dining plan....but if I book it as a package, I can't change it once we get to 45-days out, and I am hoping they will offer the Free Dining offer again that week. That means, I would need to Free Dining offer to occur before October 29th, then I could change my package. I DO have a Disney Visa, so putting that out mid-September again would be perfect for me. I am not planning on Free Dining, but if it happens, I do not want to miss out on it. FD would save us huge $$$ since we are staying in a value.

I believe it was Sept.Because it was right before my trip.It was not the general public tho.First was the select pincode postcards and then the deal for Disney Visa members.

The fall free dining offer was never available for the general public. It was only for Disney Visa cardholders or for those who received pins.

Thanks everyone. Being a Disney Visa card-holder, I am hopefully fine with this, with luck they will do it again...if not, I have a 40% off PIN, so it's still win-win.
