Hi all. When we went this last September, it was our first time having to pay for our ds. When dh would go and order our food (counter service), he would say 2 adults and 1 child.

If I remember correctly, the "key to the world" card didn't specify how many adults or kids were on the package. My point is...some of the cm's would say it didn't matter if we ordered his off the kids menu or not (for counter service). I am confused by this. Honestly, I was not trying to "scam" an adult meal for a kids price. Half the time, he would just end up with an adult chicken finger combo.

When they calculate all the credits each night, do they really seperate them between kids and adults? Our breakdown just said X amount of counter service meals left...never did it specify. Have any of you had this happen?

Your card will say 2A 1C, which would be two adults and one child on the plan. They aren't supposed to let you order more than 2 adult cs meals at a time or 1 child cs meal at a time, whatever your card says.

That said, they counter service credits were all pooled when we were there last.

See, this is how I thought it was "supposed" to work. Each time we ordered 2 adults and 1 child, half the time we would get what we ordered...the other times we would end up with 3 adult combo meals. My 4yr old can't finish that much food so most of the time we would have to waste :guilty: I hope this year it is controlled a bit better. I guess for some, they would like this "mistake".

Some restaurants like CR in MK would allow you to order a adult meal even though you have kids in your party. This one time last year we went to CR and the CM said the credits are pooled, order what you want. I said so my kids can have the hamburger and fries and he said yes. So I took the meal and said nothing. We tried it again at PB and they said no. So some will allow you and some places won't. Basically when I could I did it. I also heard other people doing it too.
