Please answer this question:

In October 04, we are taking our daughter on her 1st cruise and we have been assigned room 2054 (cat 9) on the Wonder. We are most excited, however I do have a major concern at this time.

Most of us show concern with space and measurements on a horizontal level, but at 6'5 (six feet 5 inches), my BF is concerned with space on a VERTICAL level.

Can anyone provide me with reassurance that he will be able to stand up in our cabin without his head touching the ceiling? What about the doors throughtout the ship, will he be spending a lot of his time ducking?

Don't get me wrong, he is used to checking for clearance. (I suppose that after many bumps on the head growing up, he started to pay more attention.) But at the same time, I want to know that he will be comfortable while onboard.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

SMILE!!!!

Don't worry, everything is "normal" height. He will be fine.

DH is 6'2" and had no problems - plenty of clearance

My husband is 6'4 and had no problem w/height in our cat 9 stateroom. He did have to duck a little bit in the shower since the shower head is placed a little lower.

Tell your BF to be careful in the hallways near the staterooms.....my DH hit his head on an overhang. Lol..it was actually pretty funny :)

At 6'1" I had a "short bed" but no issues while standing.

The extra 4 inches make a difference, but he won't be knocking his noggin'...

my husband is 6' 7" tall.....so that's two inches taller than your BF...
my husband was fine on the ship....

Hubby is 6'5" & 240 lbs. No issues with size at all - your hubby will be just fine...

Oh - the shower head comes off so you can hold it above your head if that is an issue for him. Worked ok for us - with us both being pretty tall (5'10" here) we are used to the shower limbo. :)

Have fun!:Pinkbounc

Holy Cow Batman.....you've got some TALL guys there! At 5' 2" (and shrinking as we speak!) I would probably have a great view of their belly buttons! :)

My son's friend is 6'4" and he was fine in most places, but is used to watching his head. I don't think there will be a problem.

Just a little more reassurance here...My brother is 6'4" and he has no problems at all. ;)

From the horses mouth. I'm 6'4", and didn't have any real problems. I don't even think the bed was that bad for me.

The shower is a constant issue in hotels, boats, etc. It's always a treat when the have the shower head mounted high. But then again, I've had some shower heads that sprayed right on my stomach.
