I just got back from our 10 day WDW vacation! I had so much fun that I cant wait to go again! So How far in advance do you even start thinking or doing anything about it? I know they only book most stuff less then a year in advance right?

You can make a room only reservation 499 days out. Of course, there's the ADRs 180 days out. So you can plan quite a bit in advance if you'd like.

There only showing up to December 31st...499 days would be sept 6th 2015.. How do you by pass that?

You have to call Disney reservations to book it, it cannot be done online. It is for room only. You cannot book packages until they've released the rates for 2015.

I like to plan about a year out. Even if I don't make specific reservations for any room or plan, its still fun to plan. I planned my trip this Christmas and had booked the cruise about a month before we left for F&W/MNNSHP last October, and then we got back and have talked other family into going back again in 2015! :lmao:

Besides, it gives me something to look forward to throughout the year, incentive to pick up that overtime shift, stay on budget etc... :goodvibes

I hear ya! I would love something BIG to look forward to! Even if it is 2 years away...LOL

Haah I hear ya! The next day after I got back from my trip in January I wad like, mmmk, when are we going back! Haha. All I've really been doing is thinking about dates/what month to go next year..and looking into restaurants and calculating how much to save..haha

Well you can start now by deciding which resort you would like to stay at and roughly when you would like to go back again.

I usually book our airfare first and then book the resort/room around that.

We are planning our first trip for February 2016 and I'm already scoping out hotels and restaurants that we *have* to go to haha
