Hi,
Any opinions on if one were thinking of selling a contract would it be better to do it now before the March 20 deadline and do you think the deadline will influence (raise or lower)the price one should list for?
Thanks, Murphy

if you sell now, the contract you are selling has access to the disney collection and cruises.

if you sell later, it won't.

i'm guessing you'll get a better price for a contract with the perk than without. but there's no telling.

I think that losing the perks will lower the prices in the short term. However, new contracts are a lot more money and some people won't worry about not having those perks.

I have been looking to sell one contract at one location and then buy another contract at a cheaper location that I like.

I have been looking hard at the TSS website and the listings are going crazy. A lot of stuff is getting sold fast. About half of the contracts at SSR are sale pending. That's up from about 35% before the announcement.

I personally think that some of the price drop was due to speculation and now that things aren't as bad as some people thought, prices might stabilize a bit.

Once March 21st comes around though you can expect a bit of a haircut on the prices, my guess is $2-4 per point.

IMO. Hope its worth 2 cents.

I think selling now is better. If you are for sure selling.

You are selling a product with less features after March 20th. There is no reason to think price would increase at all after that point.

I believe most will go down, due to changes. The closer to market price (like BLT) the more it will go down. I believe the resale market will hit new lows this year. Some people will hold off buying in hopes of price going down. Some will buy new esp resorts like BLT that are nearly the same price. Why pay 95$ with no options or 120 with options. THAT price gap will widen!

Resale market does seem to be going nuts. We are in ROFR from two weeks ago so we agreed before the announcement. When I was looking SSR had a boat load at our agents place. I looked on Friday and I swear there may have been 10 left. On the 10 left, ide be willing to bet the average price went up a couple bucks.

If your contemplating selling, sell now. the only direction prices can go as of the 21st will be down.
