When to see Holiday Decorations?

Trying to find the least crowded time of year to see the holiday decorations. Would this be the week after Thanksgiving??? When do the decorations usually go up and come down???

Thanksgiving is usually a great time to go! They usually but the Christmas decorations up a week before Thanksgiving but start taking them down as early as January 2nd.

The decorations go up Thanksgiving night after the parks are closed and come down after New Years. If you want the best time to see them, go the 1st 2 weeks of December. Less crowded. Oh for the Osborne lights at the Disney Studios, they start putting those up in Aug. But do not turn them on until it's time.

How would the crowds the first week in December compare to the crowds in early Feb.? (Feb. is the only time I have ever been) Does the holiday get as busy as in the summer?

Last two weeks of dec as crowded as summer, more so on Xmas day(officially the highest attendance in park history). First two weeks of Dec are great; warm but not hot days, low attendance, holiday decorations and still early enough to get home for the holidays.
