when to purchace one day ticket?

Hi All, we are heading to Disney Land in April, and are very excited to be able to spend a day there. Should we buy our tickets before we get there?? OR as we enter for the day.....it looks like there are not discounts for one day tickets....or are there??

We are staying a few miles away so we will be driving and parking at the park.....any tips for that plan?

There aren't typically deals for 1 day tickets....BUT I would purchase online ahead of time to save time. The e-tickets can be taken straight to the turnstyle where they'll exchange it with your actual paper ticket. You won't have to go to the ticket booth at all and will save you a ton of time first thing in the morning.

Can you buy a 1-day ticket the day before, or do you need to purchase them that day? We're doing the same thing as Wendy! Arriving the evening before & exploring downtown disney, then doing the park the next day!

As long as you have internet access, you can prepurchase the tickets and print them out then take them to the turnstiles to enter that day. They will then give you the actual tickets that you will need for your Fast Passes should you choose to use them (which I highly recommend since you only have one day to squeeze in fun!)

If you're arriving the night before I'd pick your PHs up then *pre buying them with a slight discount, it's a pain the morning of but if you have time the evening before it's great, for our past visit I picked up our 3 day PHs the evening b4 our 1st day.
