when to plan?

We're planning on going to WDW in October 2006. How far in advance should we start booking everything? I went on Disneyworld.com to put in all my info to get a general idea of price and they are only showing prices for 2005. When does it change? I'm impatient and want everything done now but I have no idea what I'm doing- I havn't been to disney in 14 years. Can anyone help?
