When can I reserve restaurants for my rehearsal dinner? I also want to make reservations for any other restaurants that may get booked up quick, is it three months out? Which are the restaurants that are most likely to be booked early?

I think you can book ADRs at 180 days out. You will need your Disney reference number to do this.

Unfortunately, with the new reservation system still in the works, us May brides aren't going to be able to make ressies 180 days out this year...unless it's for Chef Mickey's, Cindy's Table, or V&A's! Hopefully by early Decemember all the bugs will be worked out!

NEW DINING RESERVATION SYSTEM IN THE WORKS

Disney will begin implementing a new reservation system that combines dining, recreation and tour bookings.

The conversion will start on July 21, 2008 and is expected to be functioning early December. While this is taking place, the latest dining reservation date which can be booked in advance is March 22, 2009**. Once the new system is operating, it will revert to the 180 day Advance Dining Reservation window.

The exceptions to the shortened ADR booking window are Cinderella's Royal Table, Chef Mickey's and Victoria & Albert's.

** - While the official source states that ADR's can now be booked thru March 22, 2009, we are getting conflicting reports from calls to Disney Dining. It appears this may not go into effect until October 26.

I was on the phone with DVC member services yesterday and I asked them and they told me DEC 1st...right now it is DEC 22nd over on the restaurant boards.

When I call at 180 days to book Chef Mickeys I will see what they tell me and let you all know. My 180 day mark is Nov 4 or 5.

I got all excited to call this morning to book Chef Mickey's...only to realize today is Tuesday, NOT Wednesday!!:rotfl:

When I called this morning though, I was told they are looking at mid-December for dates after March 22, 2009 (which sucks for April/May brides!)

So, I have to call back tomorrow to book Chef Mickey's for April 30 (we're arriving on the 27th)...

Lynn-When are you eating there? We'll be there twice this upcoming trip...we're eating brekkie on May 8th too....you'll be there around that time, right? It would be funny/cool if we happen to both be there with our hubbies for breakfast at the same time!

Yep, that's right.. April brides can't make their reservations either. Seriously annoying. I'm planning to call every single day in December at 7am to get my reservations.

(they are going to hate me)

So we just have to wait and see? That's rubbish! I'm gonna book V & A and Cinderella's though because I really wanna go to those. So it's 180 days out? Do I have to count exactly or can it be 6 months? And they open at 7?

I also cant book my whole trip for march yet. Im getting married March 23. I can book for before the wedding but not after:confused3 I have the rehearsal dinner booked but I cant book any thing else for the trip yet:( Im with Lindsay ill be calling 7am EVERYDAY in Dec.

Pinkerbell1983- You can book 180 days out. I would count but that is just me. (also on that 180 day mark if your staying on property you can book +10 days at the time.) Yes they open at 7am EST (I have to be up at 4am here in OR to call:scared1: )

I think you can book ADRs at 180 days out. You will need your Disney reference number to do this.

Which reference number are you referring to? Is that just for the rehearsal dinner that you need a reference number?

I am not staying on Disney property, does this make a difference?

Luckily I'm west, so it's actually noon here at 7am in Florida. I'm thinking of doing Cindy's table for lunch/dinner the day after the wedding with most of my guests, can I book table's for parties this large?

I think she might be talking about your hotel reservation number for booking the 180+10.:confused3 Anyone else can book at 180 days. You just have to call day by day. I was told to call the 407-WDW-DINE number then ask for group reservations for larger groups.
I would call dining first and see if they can help you. If they cant they can transfer you to who can help you.

(I hope all of that did not confuse you)

If you are booking for 13 or more people, you need to go through Group Dining. Some of the restaurants (like Hoop de Doo Revue I think it's 8 or more...)
What I was told this morning is to call every week to see if they have updated info as to when you can call to book for after March 22...

For anyone needing to know what day they can call...

You can use www.pscalculator.net

But, in some instances now it doesn't matter, because my 180 days is the end of this month, but I still can't call because they are not taking anything past March 22....I would say the 180 day thing will be back for stays in June '09 and after because as of now, the earliest they think they'll be back up for dining for dates after March 22 is mid-Dec!!!:scared1:

That's a really helpful link - thanks muchly! :thumbsup2

I never knew they were changing the booking system, its going to be a nightmare in December with everyone trying to get the dates they want!

Ok, so today is 180 days until my disneymoon, so I called to book my ADR for CRT and Chef Mickeys... actually, I called last night to see when I'd be able to book the rest of my ADRs, and they told me December 26th... then this morning when I called to book CRT and Chef Mickeys, they told me Dec. 21st. So who knows.:confused3

I think I'm going to just call everyday in December until they let me make them!:rotfl:

That dosen't make sense! :sad2: I'd call and speak with someone else. They are suppose to be booking 180 days out for Chef Mickey and CRT! Or do you mean that they said Dec 21st for the rest of the ressies, and you were able to book the others?

Isn't that the truth!! :scared1: They are supposed to be going to on-line reservations too...all those people at once, I can just see the system crashing!

Oh no... I'm sorry, I didn't explain that good... I did book CRT and Chef Mickeys... I was told Dec. 21st and Dec. 26th for the other reservations!

I don't want to wait that long! I will change my mind too many times!

So is the new system, wait till Dec a one time thing while they implement the new system? Just curious because my 180 days out will be in January so will it be business as usual by then do you think?? Sorry for everyone who has to wait that is so frustrating!!
