When to head to 8:30 Fantasmic if 7pm show?

When should we head to the 8:30 Fantasmic when there's also a 7pm show? I know the first show will go until 7:30 and then I'd imagine it takes awhile to clear out. Thanks.

I think the experts recommend getting there at least an hour ahead of time. It's very popular (although that might vary with time of year?). They won't let people in until the theater is clear and cleaned anyway. The people exiting are directed down separate paths than the people coming in.
I've read where people arriving 45 minutes early found the stadium full.

I've never been when the park closes that early, as we prefer summer hours with Fantasmic at 9 & 10:30.

We've attended the 10:30 showing several times and have never arrived more than 10 minutes before the scheduled start time. Also, we've rarely seen the stadium more than half full for the late show during our visits over the past few years.

This summer on a Star Wars weekend, we arrived about 10:20 as usual and found great seats just to the right of center about half way up. There was enough room available that my kids were able to lay down on the benches until the show started.

It's a really good show, I hope you enjoy it.

I don't see how that could be the case for an 8:30 show when there's a 7:00 show that lasts 30 minutes. I would think that at 7:45 they'd just be starting to let people in.
