Hi, I know this is probably a opinion based question...when is the best time to cruise? Which months has the best cruise fares? From what I am looking at June is kind of more expensive than August or September! What is your all experiences?

Holiday and vacation times will have the highest prices. Non-holiday, non vacations have the lowest.

That being said, DCL is pretty costly, no matter when you cruise. Especially since they're beefing up the off season cruises with extended "holiday" times (I mean Halloween in September?) and the Star Wars Days.

We typically cruise in Sept/Oct or May, they seem to have the "best" prices. And book as far out as possible, because prices rise as the space onboard fills. So lowest prices on any given cruise will typically be on opening day for that cruise.

We have sailed mostly in late Oct. Fares are better, hurricane season is almost"over", and the weather is still generally nice. I spent a lot of time studying pricing before our first cruise and found hurry can season, after school resumes, to be the cheapest. As Shmoo notes, that's Sept/ Oct.
