Hi. We are taking our 3 kids to IOA and US in June for about 8 days. Just bought AP's for all of us. Not sure how to work this...alternate parks every day???

That's what I would do, it will be too crowded to try to jump back and forth in one day. If you have FOTL you could try it one day and see if its worth it but I've never been one to run myself ragged especially if I'm going to be there for a few days.

We would very often start out in one park, take an afternoon swim break, and then return to the parks. At that time we could either return to the same one or go to the other. With kids I think it is better to start off in the park that would excite them the least. With Mummy in US then that is a harder call with my kids. Used to be they preferred IoA so I would always start in the Studios, but now it's a toss up.

We alternate between parks when we are there for a number of days and if staying onsite u can return to pool and head back in later afternoon:jester:

Thanks for the replies Unfortunately, I think it is a 25 min. drive from our resort to US and IOA. We are staying at WDW. I would LOVE to be able to leave, go back to the hotel for a swim and lunch, etc..., then go back, but not sure if it's worth alll that driving. :)

Why stay at WDW if you really want to see more of Universal/IOA this time? Why don't you stay at one of the Universal on-site hotels. You'll get the front of the line access to almost all of the rides for as many times as you like and priority seating at restaurants. Then.......you can do as has been said above, still have a visit to MK and Epcot in between plus Seaworld too. Stay onsite - then alternate between Universal/IOA parks and a disney one every other day if you wish. Hard Rock Hotel has the best pool with curly slide that the kids love, but once on-site you can visit the other hotels for meals, pool, etc too. Justa thought.

Last time we did WDW and IOA & US. We stayed at the Sheritan across from US, then transferred to a WDW resort. Ths year, we plan to spend most of our time at US & IOA, but the reason we are staying at a WDW resort is because we got a good deal. Also, we really love the resorts. However, since we bought AP's, we plan to return as much as we can over the next year and will probably stay at one of the US hotels...just for the convenience, and the fotl passes (that has got to be worth the extra $$ there!!). It was mostly about the $$.
