When to go to Disney

Hi Im just wonderin between the middle of feb. and may when is the best week to spend in Florida(lowest crowds , nice weather, and moderate prices??) Please help Im taking my first trip with my family Twins 3 years , DD 6 yrs., and DD 4 yrs. Whew this should be fun!!

My opinion: the middle of February will be more crowded than May due to the President's Day holiday week.

The weather in May is pretty nice. The weather in February can be pretty nice, but it can also be pretty cold. There's no way of knowing with February weather.

We had a trip planned for early Dec., but had to postpone due to moving. I didn't want to wait an entire year, but low crowds are pretty important to us (two of our children are autistic.) So I checked out the Unofficial Guide anticipated crowd levels, as well as last year's archives here at DIS.

I then picked the week after President's week. The weather should be pretty decent (we're from Maine, so anything above 50 seems downright tropical) and the crowds, while not September near empty, will be at their anticipated lowest at that time.

We also have 4 (ours are 9 and under, space every two years or so.) Good luck and have fun.

We went the first week of February a few years ago and it was great! Great weather...no crowds. DD was in preschool then. In 2008, we plan on going at that time again and taking Dd out of school for a week.

I went the first week in May before and I consider that my perfect Disney vacation.
