When to go Summer V Autumn

DH Mark is from Livingston but has been down in London since he was 19 for about 18 years now. Does that count? After all is a lot quicker to drive to Disneyland Paris from here, so we have a head start.

Another vote for Ocotber. The weather is great, hot but not unbearably so. It's not too busy as the English schools aren't out when the Scottish schools are off and it's bliss walking about in a T-Shirt knowing that back home it could be snowing! :rotfl: By the way can I come to the mini DIS meet - I'm from Aberdeen! The Granite City!

I'm with the others on October. We have done early August for last two years. Crowds both times didn't seem that bad. Weather was a very different thing though. We expected it to be hot. Didn't expect hurricanes both times! I am thinking of posting our holiday dates for you all to avoid next year as we seem to take the weather with us! :rotfl:

We are from Glasgow and we don't care if we go In July :sunny: or October :sunny: as long as we go :rotfl:

joking apart October isn't as humid but we now have to go in July as DS doesn't get school holidays as he is at Uni. but we have found July just fine :cool1: :

Thanks for the additional comments, keep them coming :goodvibes

Looks like we have flushed out a few from the NE :teeth: Looks like a mini DIS meet might be possible.
