When to go?? (Late Sept / Early Oct)

OK.. so, we decided to delay our honeymoon for 2-3 months after the wedding so that we could go during a *slightly* cooler time and less kids..

Decided on September.. but then I realized... September is still concidered value season at the deluxe resorts, and October 1 begins regular season. If I book and start our honeymoon still in September we can have the value prices even if we end our trip in October....

Realizing that, I am trying to come up with the best time to go...
the week of <b>Sept 19-25th, 2004 or Sept 26-Oct 2, 2004</b>

What week would be better, or is there not really too much difference in weather and crowds?

I actually went thru the same debate overthe same two weeks in 2000 when planning my first trip. We choose the later date because there were more fireworks and other extras during regular season. It was still really hot, tho. I don't think that it makes that much difference for weather.
