We are looking at a trip either late this year, or early 2011. For those of you that have gone multiple times what's better, weather wise?

We are looking either the week before Amercian thanksgiving or the week after. and if not then, we would delay it until March/April.

Ideally we would want it no cooler than 70 and no hotter than 80-85. ~picky eh?!?!?! Do we need to factor hurricane season up to the end of November?

So, when is a good time? And don't say anytime since you're going to WDW :thumbsup2

We're personally fans of November/December travel. We've done both instances you've mentioned and both worked well. Post US Thanksgiving we found slightly cooler. (Yes it made a difference to us)
Pre Thanksgiving was ideal, (esp. since it was also DW's birthday). Next trip will also be in December. If you're a Canuck, it may be cooler, but not a problem for us hearty folks! pirate:
P.S. Last December it did rain a fair bit on us, but it didn't dampen our spirits. If you go before Thanksgiving, it's still hurricane season, but pretty well the end of it.

December / January => often "jacket weather". Rare frost days - my wife wore gloves.

February => Mostly T-shirt and jeans weather, with some warm "shorts days" mixed in.

April => Shorts weather every day. :) I hope October is similar.

Late November will be cool. Our last WDW was end of Oct/start of Nov and it was only highs of about 70/72, with most of the day in the 60s. Early to mid-October is nice. We went April 2 years in a row and had great weather (sunny and high 70s, low 80s) so that's when I'd recommend. Just watch the crowd calendar around that time because it gets very busy at Easter.

Thanks for the replies! Keep 'em coming

We went last March (23-31) and it was HOT 85F! One day was rainy and cool, but being Canadian we were still in the pool! :thumbsup2 ~the only ones and the lifeguards joked about us being Canadian.

Ideally, I would just prefer to have warm, not cold, not hot. But comfortable for walking all day.

Decisions, decisions, decisions......

Mid-Feb > was rainy and cold except for 2 days :(
Mid-May > Hot but not humid... rain showers in late afternoon for 3 days
Late Sept > Hot and Humid but no rain... we love Sept for low crowds and we can still enjoy MNSSHP. Been 4 times!
Early Oct> went once and had lots of showers.
Mid to Late Nov> Surprised with the weather we got... warm and light jackets at night some evening bit NO rain!
Early Dec > Cool and wet every day except 1!

If you are going the first two weeks of October you should be wearing shorts every day. I haven't been in WDW for the last two weeks of October. Last year there was a heat wave at the beginning of October.

We ususally go late March toearly April, have all but one year had great weather, even the one year that it was a little cool, it was only for a few days. Went March 31-April 13 this year, the temps were 81-85, no rain, perfect weather. Went in November one year, nice sunny days, cool evenings.

We were there for that heat wave this past October, and it was awful! It was hotter than when we were there the previous June. Totally had to rearrange our touring plans. I'm hoping for more predictable temperatures when we go back in December.

We really enjoy going end of November - beginning of December...we have had beautiful weather whenever we have gone during that time (knocks on wood). DH and I have also gone in February and it was COLD! Being from Canada (Saskatchewan where we get -40C in winter) we had to buy sweaters/pants because we were cold and didn't pack enough thinking that Florida couldn't possibly be cold in Feb. Friends of ours and family have also experienced the cold Feb. Florida weather. This year we are going mid Aug. and preparing for the heat and rain but I would still say Nov/Dec is my favorite time.
