We were planning on cutting 3 Disney nights to give UOR a try for our trip next year, but we're thinking of skipping Disney completely and maybe doing a beach trip with UOR and SW. When is a low crowd time for UOR that's also good beach weather? And how many nights allows for a relaxing trip with ride repeats but without getting bored? Is 4 or 5 too many? We'd be staying onsite.

Thanks :)

your siggie shows september 2015 for that trip.

early sept thru mid sept would have lower park crowds.

We are on our way home now from a week stay. Weather was perfect.. Mid 70's to high 80's and low humidity. Crowds during the week were pretty low and waits for rides were reasonable although that Sunday was pretty busy. Hubs and I think 4 days is needed to really experience everything at both parks. I don't know that I would do Disney and Universal together, but then again, I'm not as young as I used to be! ;)

We've gone to Orlando at the end of February before and did a Disney trip. I seem to remember the weather being nice but a little cooler and the crowds being low.

We do a full 7 nights ( 4 park days at Universal) and are not bored. It allows 2 days for each park with plenty of time for shows, soaking in the atmosphere and re-rides.
Keep in mind crowd patterns will change with the opening of the Harry Potter expansion this summer and with the plans Universal has for the next few years.

We like to go for at least 4 nights to give us time to relax too. This trip we are going 4 nights with 3 park days. I usually like to stay 6 or 7 nights but this trip is around the 4th of July so we are going to my parent's house nearby for the rest of the stay and holiday this year.

We also stay onsite, and those extra days gives us the opportunity to enjoy the pools, etc.

4 or 5 nights won't be too many nights.

That way you can take some time to enjoy the resorts as well as plenty of time in the parks. We never get bored at Universal. We stay our whole trip there and don't go near Disney.

We do enjoy a lot of time in the surrounding area and have a day in Clearwater or St Pete's. If you choose September it's still plenty warm for beaches. It's our favourite time to go :thumbsup2
