When to go..4/17-4/24 or 6/12-6/19??

I'm planning a trip to WDW and must do it when the kids are not in school (we already took them out for 6 days in December to go). Which week should be less busy? I know they are both busy times. Is it much hotter in June than April? We plan only to go to the parks from 8-11am and then back in the evenings. During the day we will enjoy the pool, boating and anything air-conditioned. Which week should we choose? Thanks!

I think it is pretty hot in June, but I am not sure if there is much difference between June and April.

In my opinion you would be better off going in April. I assume your schools are closed 4/17-24, well ours are closed 4/9-4/18, and I am sure alot of schools are closed that week too. You might luck out and have a less crowded week. I would think that June (when most everyone is out of school) would be much more crowded. I would also think June would be much hotter than April.

Our last trip was that week in june right after school let out and it was wonderful. The parks were not crowded at all and the weather was in the 80's. Best of all it wasn't considered peak season yet, so the price was right. We are going April 9-17 this year and I know it will be very crowded. Good Luck with your planning and have fun!

Hi! We have been visited during both these time periods, and although both trips were great, I would pick the April break- as it is not one of the weeks surrounding Easter. All our April visits have had great weather, and those not surrounding Easter, moderate crowds.

We went last June during that time period 6/8-22, and although we were prepared for the heat, I never expected so much rain. I was planning on the passing thunderstorm, but we had a few storms that just rained hard for hours! We did have Typhoon Lagoon all to ourselves one very rainy morning!

The parks crowds were a little heavier in June also. But as I recall, park hours a little longer in June.

We did do better with airfare in June -and that is important if buying tickets for the family.
