SSR - Paddock pool noise level

We have a trip around Labor Day weekend and will be in a standard 1 bed at SSR. I'm thinking we may want to be near the Paddock pool, but I'm wondering about the noise level. How loud is the pool for those in the buildings on either side?

Not loud at all. They don't do the pool activities with music at that pool. So it's pretty quiet other than the noise of kids playing etc

We stayed in a 1 bedroom in one of the buildings adjacent to the paddock pool and had no issues with pool noise. We loved that location as we could run back to the room easily. It was the only time we didn’t request the grandstand section and really loved it.

The paddock pool does have a slide so it is probably the second busiest pool at the resort, but as stated there are no activities/music/etc at that pool. Just the normal drone of kids playing etc.

Is that pretty much the case with all the pools-not being terribly loud? I was concerned about being near the Grandstand pool.

The only pool that has a lot of noise is the main pool but there aren't many rooms right by the main pool so not much to worry about

I think it also helps that there is a little distance as well as trees, etc. between the pool-facing villas and the pool itself. I don't think any SSR villas look directly down to the pool, do they?

Forgive my ignorance of SSR, I haven't stayed there-yet, but where is the main pool located?

Not the main pool or grandstand or paddock anyway. Maybe the Congress park pool not sure I haven't stayed in that area so can't say either way. SSR is like a perfectly designed traditional timeshare design IMO.

I looked on a satellite map, and it appears that some villas face the Congress Park pool, but the buildings are across a roadway/parking area from it, so again separated by at least a little distance.

I too think SSR was very well designed!

I've never wanted to spend the points to be in preferred so never stayed in congress park! lol. Considering there's no music or activities at that pool I wouldn't worry about noise if I was staying in congress park.

SSR Is not my resort of last resort - I am very thankful for it! Frankly I love the resort.
