When to do bbb?

Hi! I was wondering when a good day to do bbb is during the trip? Is the first day in the parks to ambitious? My daughter will be almost 5 when we go.

I like to do it near the beginning of the trip when excitement is high (1st or 2nd day).

the first 2 days are the way to go! their hairdo holds pretty good for two days at least, so you can stretch the princess look, you might need to do a little retouching. Have a great trip!
PS: wear waterproof mascara you will cry from happyness BBB is one of the best memories me and my princess have.

Did this last time...so much glitter! so the pillowcase the next day will be...'shiny'.
But if you are handy with hair, watch them closely if they do the little topper bun, my wife was able to figure it out and recreate it to some degree even after we washed it.
and we had the little mickey/princess berret...so it was passable even after a throrough shampoo!

We've done the first day and agreed, it is a great thing to do early in your trip because the hairstyle holds at least an extra day or two (we may or may not have pushed it longer than that). It looks super cute in the photos, and the characters all complimented my DD on her hairstyle. If your DD wants to swim, though, you might want to consider doing it your last day or towards the end of your trip. We are taking my DD again this summer and actually ended up calling and moving it to the latest time they could book for our last day there for this reason. The hairspray they use holds really well, but I'm not sure it would do great in a swimming pool!

But seriously, that stuff holds. We did 3 days when the girls were little and we had cool weather.

I was wondering the same thing. We want to go to CRT for late breakfast the same morning as BBB so while I'd like to do BBB early in our 8-day trip, I'm wondering if we'd have better luck with CRT reservations 4-5 days into our trip.

That is one thing that makes me nervous about the reservation system! We are probably doing Akershus and that reservation isn't so tough to get. Although I may try for CRT

I have been playing around with the reservation system just to get comfortable with it. So I've gotten online right at 6:00 am EST to do a dummy booking for CRT on whatever the current 60-day date is. I've had some success on some days getting a time to come up for 6 people for CRT breakfast. But we need 10 people so I'm hoping that because free dining is not offered during our stay it might free it up a bit. It's kind of interesting to see exactly what is available at the current 60 days out. I know we will have other options if CRT is not available but I'm hoping...

LOL I have been doing the same thing! Its kind of like a fun game! I think as long as you have a backup, it will be OK! I go back and forth with whether I want Akershus or CRT. If it was just DD I would do both, but I am not sure DS would love the princess overload!
