When to call for DLH room assignment?

I've read that I need to call, what, 4, 3, ? days before I arrive to ensure that my room requests are most likely accommodated at the DLH. I arrive Saturday, November 5. So, what day should I call for this to happen? Can I call now and have it work or does it need to happen within a certain time frame to plug into the computer room assignments properly? Help please.

I would suggest calling 3 days ahead. That's what I did and got everything I asked for.

I called 3 days before, as well as the day I was arriving and still didn't get what I wanted! I seem to be the minority though. I was told it all depends on what is available when you check in.
