When to buy tickets for spring 2018 trip?

Amex has an offer for undercover tourist right now and I'm wondering if I should go ahead and buy at least one if the tickets for my spring 2018 trip. But I'm not sure how long the tickets would be good for. When do tickets expire? If I bought today would they be good for April 2018?

afaik once you get your ticket and assign the number to your MDE account it is good until you use it.

Buy now - don't know when Disney will increase prices...could be anytime and you want to lock in any savings you can get. Tickets are good forever until you first use them!
