Our trip is in early March. I'm a little confused on when I can do that and when I should. I read somewhere on FB that you can't make park reservations until 120 days out. Is that correct?

And on previous trips I researched carefully which park and which day and sometimes switched them around later until FastPasses and Dining reservations were made. Now it seems once you make a park reservation, that is your park for the day and good luck switching?

Is it so busy now it doesn't matter which park you pick? But then again, who knows what the next several months will bring.

Thougths on any of it?

2022 tickets have been on sale for a while. Tickets are non-refundable, so if you aren't sure about going you do have time to wait. Just be aware that you also risk a price increase if you wait.

Theme park reservations are available through Dec. 2022. I'm not sure who got 120 days mixed up in there but it is incorrect. As soon as you have valid ticket media linked to your MDE account you can make theme park reservations. Those reservations can be changed (cancel and book a different park) at any time -- including day of -- as long as there is availability.

The theme park reservations are not directly tied to the ADR system, with dining reservations currently booking at 60 days out. But you may certainly change any of those. There are no FP+ at this time.

I am going in April and want to get tickets before they raise prices (usually Feb). However, if WDW does what they are doing in Disney Paris with Paid Fast Pass Per Ride, then I don’t want to ever go again. Don’t mind a paid fast pass- but not per person per ride on top of an inflated Easter peak season ticket price. I am waiting to hear about FP.

I have had my tickets and park reservations for March since May. The sooner the better. You never know when they could raise ticket prices. You can always change things around, if needed.

Disneyland Paris has significantly lower ticket prices. If WDW is going to charge extra for FPs, they should lower their ticket prices.

But tickets are still non refundable. Can you transfer if I decide I don’t want?
You can call Disney and use them in the future instead. You need to call before the date on the ticket, and will get the value credited to future tickets. If you aren’t pretty sure that you will go, then I would recommend that you wait until you are relatively certain.

If you are planning to stay at a Disney resort, you can book a package with tickets and make park reservations. You can cancel until 30 days before your check in date and receive a full refund. You won't get a ticket discount, but if you want the guarantee of having park passes booked without the risk of losing money, it might be worth it.

Not too worried about the whole park reservation. More concerned with what fast pass system in place. Also, I wonder if you have to have a park reservation for MK to enjoy evening hours or will the park hopper be ok. For example, I go to HS on a wed and hop later to MK on wed because that is where evening hours are.

It sounds from your second question that you will be staying at a Deluxe Disney resort or DVC if you are asking about extended evening hours. Is this correct?

If so, you can book your package now for resort plus tickets for a $200 deposit. If later you wish to cancel for any reason, you will receive a full refund up until 30 days before your arrival date.

If you wish to go to a park for the extended evening hours you may do so if you have a park reservation for that park or a park hopper and hop to that park.
